AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. They got to spend the holidays together after all even if it's not in at an exotic locale. They get to spend it in an inn run by Mrs Clause, a friendly Ealdor lady where there's a tree in the parlour! I can picture that. It's all so warm and cozy. And Merlin's driving technique, tempered by magic, made me grin, because it's sort of the modern equivalent of Merlin's clumsiness.
I can understand why Will did what he did, and Arthur's reaction. Ealdor was described in such a vivid way I wish I could have a postcard from it... Smowy Ealdor.
In short this was sweet, fluffy, adorable, seasonal and perfect. Thank you for the lovely gift, dear anon. I enjoyed it immensely.
