OMG, I want to take this fic home and have its babies. It’s adorable, dysfunctional babies.

Each domestic scene of getting these rambunctious kids out of the house to go Christmas shopping had me laughing, especially Morgana bargaining and this exchange: "Do you remember how lovely it used to be when we went out for a drive? Just the two of us?"

Merlin gasped loudly. "I make your lives awesome!" Forgetting Elyan six times this year and then forgetting him in the car was also hilarious.

I enjoyed revisiting these friendships, through crushes and spats and Balinor's terrible Christmas jumpers, through the years.

I love poor Elyan who is invisible! xD I love that the parents are all friends (and alive!) I love the glimpse of Gwen and Merlin detective Agency.

Oh my, this was so adorbs! My weakness for kidfic, you totally nailed it. ^_^ The dialogue was hilarious throughout, and I almost teared up in spots because your AU is so warm and lovable and downright silly, and I want so much for that to be true compared to the tragedies of most of these characters. I think I'd like to crawl inside this fic and not come out for a while, Balinor's hideous sweater and all. *hugs fic tight*

(Btw, I almost choked with laughter at leaving Elyan, because THAT'S never happened in our family, OH NO.)
