one of my favorite fics i've read in this fandom. the story moved along excellently and i adored the character development for morgana (something she doesn't often get!). and extremely cool magic and lots of lore are always huge bonuses. your nimueh was great too. i absolutely loved this, thank you for writing!

Thank you. I wanted to take Morgana right away from Camelot and that emotional tangle and put her somewhere where she had to reflect.

Like all your writing, this was absolutely divine and needed. There can never be enough redemption tales for this fandom, and people seem to shy away from writing them. I am so happy to have read this.

I want those stories so much, the ones that let them be strong or heroic or in control of their own destinies, that show how they grow from the flawed and damaged people they are now to become legends. Morgana more than anyone needs a chance to take control - to get away from all those people who tell her they love her and then use her. I rewatched all her major episodes before writing this, and it was so frustrating to watch her compassion and sense of justice get tarnished and twisted.

Wow, I loved this.

At first I was a bit disappointed since I thought it was Merlin and Arthur centered. But I'm so glad I continued reading. I mean this is finally a redemption arc for Morgana (I think the first one I ever read) and it's perfect. Her punishing Nimueh in the end (the exception for the curse is brilliant) and bringing magic back in her own way, slowly and not with the force others tried to manipulate her into thinking was the only way.

How they treated Merlin was rather cruel I felt for him (though I've always been a small fan of Mergana~ could've gone a bit NC17 there, I wouldn't mind hehe)
The end was perfect and I'd actually like to see more of their story from there.
