Hey guys - just a quick update. We're almost done with posting, only a couple more works left. Yay! There's going to be a slight delay, as I'm having trouble getting my own computer to start. But as soon as my brother is finished with some school stuff, I'll be jumping on to post what's left :D

Yay! Just because it's my first time posting, could you enlighten me as to why certain gifts are showing up as being for the comm-at-large? I'm just curious if it's because the person it was written for dropped-out during or what!

So to say that I’m a little disappointed in how this fest panned out would be huge understatement. It was handled poorly right from the start, and yes, that was something of a warning, but I didn’t expect for the fest to end before all the stories were posted. I feel this is a huge disrespect to the people whose fics aren’t up and to those still waiting to receive their gifts

It's gone beyond a slight delay now. Is there a new timetable for the end of posting and reveals, or should we just assume the fest has fizzled out?

I'm of the belief that auroraprimavera has lost interest with this fest. I've already gone public and posted mine to my page, as has the person above. It's a shame, really, but I know she's been posting elsewhere, so the computer issue must have been resolved. :(

I'm responding as a co-mod only in name and not in action; yes assume the fest has fizzled out. As far as I know there is no new timetable. Post your fic and respond to comments. I'll see about getting a masterlist up within the next few days but that's unlikely as I am unable to access any of the fest materials.

Wow. Suddenly I am less angry that the person I wrote for dropped-out. As happy as I am with the story I wrote (at the last minute because story #1 turned-into practically BB length!) I was kinda mad when it was posted to the community at large. But hell - at least *someone* got to read it!

I agree. I hope to heck, personally, this person - who I am sure is supportive and lovely on LJ and in fandom - takes this lesson to heart and does not in fact, decide to mod another fest. It takes time, and work, and all sorts of commitment. It's not for everyone and it does suck royally we had to suffer along with her in learning that lesson.
