Boy, things happen fast

Well, I got back from the UK at the end of June to find out that my rent was going to increase by over 10% come October. I mentioned it to a friend who said an apartment in his building would be opening up soon. In fact it opened up in July, I saw it in August, and it's mine as of September. It's in San Francisco, but much closer to the ocean,

I wondered what was happening with you. Is your Mum moving in with you? Hope it all goes smoothly. Am just re-leasing my place which is not entirely hassle-free.

Congrats on the new place - sounds great!!!!! I am working out that cross country move thing too - doesn't seem too bad but haven't done it yet either - good luck!
