So today was the first day in a long time that I left the house feeling confident in my appearance.

And the first thing that happens when I get to work is I have to go take out the trash. And I get soaked in the rain.

Oh well, you know? Just... oh well.

I had to throw away about 300 expired bottles of soda.

You work for Sam Goody?! I worked for that company for THREE years, bro. I don't know how long you've been in the business or if your district is anything like ours, but I've got to put my two cents in: Sam Goody dutifully screwed myself and every employee in our store out of money, time, and effort. Even when it seems you're getting somewhere with them, they pull at your collar simply to remind you that you're staying put. For instance, when I went into the business, I was making 5.30 an hour. When I left? 5.50. That's after I got about 10 new Replay memberships and at least $100 in profit every shift [we were a rural store, so that was normally the daily goal], I had been in line for a "promotion" to be third key manager for OVER A YEAR, and spent every inventory night HELPING BY CHOICE until at least 3 or 4 in the morning. During the summers, I was promised full time hours every week and always only ended up with two 5 hour shifts, being told that "Next week the hours are going to change." Psh. By the end of it all, our store ( ... )

Oh, Sam Goody and Musicland both rightfully suck, I will not deny it.

But they haven't treated me that badly, and I'm not looking for promotion, so my stories are nowhere that bad. Also my managers are pretty awesome.

Also I love my 40% discount.
