I'm currently working at Schlotsky's as a cashier. If you are absolutely desperate for a job in Athens, they will most likely hire you. You will have to do menial tasks like cleaning stuff and refilling ice machines and the like, but not actually handle any food. You start off at about $6.40 an hour.

I personally don't like it, but who actually likes their summer jobs? But I would recommend this if you are particularly strapped for all of the other options in Athens.

Well, thank you for the idea.

We shall see what my options become reduced to very soon.

But yes, summer jobs are rarely pleasant. Everyone would rather be doing nothing.
