Ramblings
I've been feeling very nostalgic and morose lately. Things have been about the same for a while now. I'm still working, still have what only seems like a lot of downtime when I'm not taking it, and am still running around with checklists crossing off things until I can get into the credential program. I've been thinking a lot about old friends too, hence why I finally logged onto lj after a wee bit of time.
I'm truly sorry to hear about everything happening with your mom. I went through a period where my mom didn't speak to me for almost 10 years (blamed me for my dad getting custody of my bro and I) long story... so I can sympathize with how you feel. Just know that you are special and you are worth being around. If she is being petty, than that's her loss. Perhaps eventually she will reach out to you, as my mother did to me when she learned I had returned from Cali.
You will always hold a high place in my heart. I will never forget the kind hand you gave me when I needed someone to be there and listen. Thank-you for everything you've done for me. I feel lucky to have had the chance to meet you and be your friend!
Things will get better! Just hang in there!
