Hey guys,
It's been a while. I'm back in training with the Air Force. Seems like I've been going in circles to end up exactly where I started: fighter planes. I might be turning into an adrenaline junkie if I don't watch myself. There's been precious little time for anything else, but we have the day off so I'm taking advantage to sit down and type this up.
Anyway. How is everyone? Not too many invasions going on?

Greetings from Antarctica! I kid you not. I've been training to fly the F-302 and let me tell you, that's one damn fine plane. They seem to be rather pleased with my performances and I think I might end up on the Prometheus. That's what the shrink implied in my last session anyway. Apparently they're still iffy about sending me through the gate. I'll spare you the reasoning behind it. I still want to go through, but flying sounds good right now. The F-302 flies like a dream and Banks is a damn good copilot.
So yes, things are looking pretty good right now on this side. How's Tortall? The horses? Alanna? Any need for a Stickbug reunion yet?
There's something I should tell you, but I'm worried you might start threatening me. Or that I'm not supposed to tell you yet as I'm not sure if I'm allowed to inform anyone else of it... I've been dating Sam. Not sure where it's going, but it's been good. More than good.

Hey,
They seem to keep extending the training. I'm not sure what that means, perhaps that I'm not sucking at this. I've missed flying, more than I realised I had. Which is good as I apparently might end up on the Prometheus instead of on an SG-team. Something about how they're not certain how I'll respond in combat situations similar to the ones I've been in. I'd have thought that I'd proven I'm not going turn into a complete wreck during training, but apparently not. It doesn't matter really, flying's pretty good.
I just wish they'd had better timing. They can't say how much longer the training will last. So maybe until the end of the week or they might just add another week. Or two. I have no idea and neither do they.
How is Atlantis coming? Any more news?
So this might sound lame, but I keep typing and deleting it and it's probably stupid to delete it because it's true. I miss you.
