Veronica's room - Sunday morning

Cameron could probably have slept for most of day after all that had happened yesterday, he was fully intending to do so as well from the looks of it. Too bad he shifted in his sleep, rolling onto his shoulder. The pain was enough to wake him up and he wasn't even aware of the noise he'd made as he shifted to his side again.

Veronica was pretty exhausted, too, but she didn't miss the noise Cameron made.

"You okay?" she mumbled.

"Yeah," he whispered, shifting closer and wrapping an arm around her. "Sorry, didn't mean to wake you."

"It's okay," she assured him, opening her eyes and giving him a critical look. "I still think we should have taken you to the emergency room for someone to look at that shoulder."

"They couldn't have done much more than you did," he assured her. "If it doesn't get better, I'll go to the clinic."
