Veronica walked in, carrying a huge mug of coffee and a bottle of water. She handed the water to Cameron and then sat on the bed to watch him.

"You know, you can leave some of that stuff here if you want to," she told him. "It's not like you won't be coming to visit as soon as you can."

"I haven't cleared out my stuff in the bathroom," Cameron replied, considering his bag. "I don't want things getting in your way."

"How could your things be in my way?" Veronica asked. "We've managed to share this space pretty well for the last month or so."

"I don't know," he scratched the back of his neck and leaving the bags for what they were, he went to sit beside her on the bed. "It's going to be weird."

Veronica curled up against Cameron, her fingers dancing across his chest. "I wish we could stay like this forever."
