The nice thing about Google Calender was that it didn't let you forget anyone's birthdays. Of course, Isabel realized as she saw the alert, it would have been better if she'd set a reminder a few days before. Then she could have made sure to have a card in the mail in time. Hopefully Cam wouldn't mind just a phone call. She'd do better next year.

*ring* *ring*

Cameron wouldn't mind, he wasn't really expecting anything today. "Mitchell."

"Happy Birthday," Isabel said immediately. "I'd sing, but that would probably make your dog howl."

"And since I have on right here, that would be appreciated," he replied, the response coming easier than he would have thought. "It's the thought that counts."

Despite the hell of her current living situation (she really wished that Piper didn't have that stupid personal gain clause and could just blow up their deadbeat landlord), Veronica did remember what today's date was.

And even though things had been weird at the wedding, she picked up the phone and dialed Cameron's number.

"Mitchell," came the answer after a few rings.

"So you finally caught up with me," Veronica said lightly.
