!!! I didn't know you were a Marvel fan too. WHAT IS THIS SHENANIGANS?! My friends just recently got me into writing for this as opposed to strategically lurking like a creep.

This is good! Of course, you already know that. But I think you have done a great job with capturing Tony and his insane insecurities and personality. So lovely. You shoul dwrite more. I love Tony/Steve too too much.

Aw, thank you bb! I was terrified to write for this fandom just because it's so vast and can be intimidating but I'm really glad that you like it and I totally intend to write more. I seem to have a lot of plot bunnies for these two so it's just a matter of getting it out of my head and onto paper. :D Expect more in the near future, lovely!

I don't know what it says about me as a writer that I considered "you have a good grasp of screwed Tony" to be one of the highest compliments I feel like could be received on this work. Ahhh.. but maybe that's just something that's sort of specific to this fandom all things considered.

Tony is a somewhat special case I think because we have so much canon available so there are a specific set of expectations about how he is written., but still not everyone ( in fact very few) get it really right. So IMO there is nothing wrong with taking it as a compliment that you got it really,really right.

Oh gosh, this is so incredibly gorgeous and nearly broke every string of my heart. I really adore this piece (and I'm so glad to have found it!). Your writing is beautiful and there are lines hear that took my breath away, that I had to re-read immediately to be wowed again. I especially loved this:

He assumes he was probably supposed to die then. Almost feels disappointed with himself that he didn't. If he'd stayed dead, someone would've loved him for who he was.

Tony's instinct being to run away and save Steve from the trouble of loving him...gah, it hurts so well.
