We're off on another booze cruise. It barely seems any time since we did the last one, and, in fact, it isnt. This is because there are several side effects of having adult offspring living with you long past the time they should have departed lo live in their own squalour; one is that they keep you awake all night playing games on the Interwebs

Perfunctory, I'm pleased to say. A quick pat down by a bored Geordie woman. They do have security of sorts on ferries, but compared with the theatrics involved in flying, it's very minimal.

Me and Lumpy Sea have history, and not pleasant at that! I am pleased to relate that this was the flattest crossing I have ever experience though, and I was not obliged to take the funky French seasickness pills I carry just in case. (although one day I might just take 'em anyway, because, whoah! French over-the counter drugs!! ;-)
