I like Ghent, the medieval alterpiece it's famous for is breathtaking. And there's Bruges too, which is lovely, full of museums, chocolate and um, extremely strong beer! The rest of Belgium...eh.

The windfarm looks sort of eerie, but not unattractive.

To be fair, I don't think we saw the best of Gent, because Gini directed us off-the-motorway, along-a-busy-road, then back-on-the-motorway again. I think she was sulking because The Husband kept ignoring her instructions!

I don't understand why people complain about windfarms, I think they look really funky, and really non-radioactive-non-global-warming to boot!

I know the hat shop in the Grassmarket. It's just along from the vintage shop AND the awesome comic shop.

The other pictures are great- loved the theme of the road signs. Much like ( this one of mine! )

Yes, I should, but The Husband has considerable experience in Advanced Hat Shop Avoidance Technique. Drat!

Another one for the collection! It has to be said that I have never seen a "Welcome to England" sign travelling in the other direction!
