Serious poll because I keep dreaming about having a pet manatee. Oh and a feinting goat. Ignore that and just share what you think would be the ideal pet for your characters. Only one now. Bonus, what would they name it? Would they train it to do anything cool or would it just be an intimidation tool/fluffy pillow/emergency food ration? Reasoning is not important but is optional.
Aside from that cutesy topic, how about a pet Gundam? Who hasn't wanted a Gundam or any other sort of pilotable mecha? What would be best suited to your characters? You can use the basic type if you want or go all out and give names and specs. I miss the mech fights, guys. ;_; I want to laugh at Trowa when he runs out of bullets. ilu trowa.
