IT'S HALLOWEEN

And we all know what that means; the good old-fashioned acquisition of treats and snacks via the implied threat of bodily harm or vandalism to property while in stupid costumes.

If you ask me, trick-or-treat is far too nice for the unpleasant place that is camp at Halloween. That 'treat' business sounds too much like well-meaning diplomacy to me. And we can't be having any of that. Who wants to ASK for stuff when they could just TAKE it? I hereby propose a trick-or-RAID for next Friday, where campers attempt to take each other's ill-gotten goods while having to protect their own by any means.

Defending troops can channel the full fury of Home Alone-style paintcans on strings, use all your skills of spell or sword, hire protectors such as the well-meaning cadre of knights in camp, or maybe just lure them outside where, given it's Halloween night, camp is really happy to take care of problems for you in a rather terminal fashion...

Or, if you're really daring, go on the attack! Start off small - raiding hotel rooms and ramshackle cabins, moving up to clinical hospital rooms and actual fortified houses, then aim for the high-score spots like the Mess Hall, Store, or Crypt - for the kudos - brave the evils of their defenders, and return with a glorious story or two!

... while in stupid costumes.

That's it, really. I don't intend for this to be any weekend event nor anything with something as silly as RULES, I'm just posting it up because I don't know if anyone else has anything planned or intended to do things in a rather more traditional style. I figure a base comment for each location then people can mingle (oy) and attack/defend at leisure, jump each other, work in teams, whatever. Just remember to be good sports and win some, lose some.

Thoughts?

Edit: I MEANT FRIDAY I SWEAR
