Seeing as though we have had an influx of new campers, I suppose a greeting post is in order. Unfortunately, I imagine that you have all been "greeted" by the zombies, and so instead a post detailing who I am and just why you shouldn't shoot me is equally valid.
My name is Doctor Simon Tam, and I'm a trauma surgeon here. I also possess a variety of other skills in various specialisations due to a rather interesting post-internship and needless to say, it is quite difficult to faze me in regards to injuries or illnesses. My crewmate's opinions to the contrary, I am not a vampire or anything other than what I appear to be, nor do I have any skills outside of the norm. No, I really don't know why he thought I was a vampire. Any clarification on that front would be greatly appreciated.
For the observant among you, you've probably noticed that I'm often shadowed by a small, dark haired girl. This is my sister, River. She's had a very troubled few years, and so I would appreciate it that if you see her to say hello and not be off-put by her reaction.
Finally, I must ask that no more people move into the hospital. I am aware that an announcement was made a few days ago of dubious credibility, however I'm afraid that this announcement contains some merit. It is becoming increasingly difficult to place patients in the hospital and they take priority. I'm sure you all understand; it's very likely that one day you will be one of those patients.
