Well, it's been a long run. Maybe a little longer than it should've been. But I've been on the back burner for too long, and it's time I went home. I may be a secret agent, but I'm not this good at stealth when she has the controller; even playing on Easy Mode, I should still be spotted in the community comments more often than this. It takes dedication to be a soldier like me, unwavering focus and sacrifice. So it's time to take hold of all of those traits, and admit it's time to let go.
Yeah, it hurts. A soldier knows that on the battlefield he has to be prepared to lose his men, his comrades - when the going gets tough, there's no looking back. But when that moment arrives, even the hardest players hesitate. You might wonder if you can hold on just a bit longer, wonder if you really have to say goodbye. There might be so much more you can do and say in that uncertain future. There might even be a game that haven't been released, new chapters coming out, and a new rush of energy may be just around the corner. Maybe you'll have time for regret then.
But there's no room for regret on the battlefield. It's time to pass the torch to the new lineup. It's in good hands - still a little green, but good hands. They need all the attention they can get if they're going to make it out here.
As for me, I'm late for a mission at Nintendo. That will be my next battlefield. I'll see you there, Pikachu.
Don't get killed, kids.
