[Just off the Sports Field - alright, and maybe overflowing onto the edge of it - is a gathering of pavilions. They're sorta shabby, but the big painted sign that says "CFUD SCIENCE FAIR - WELCOME!" is pretty nice looking. There's a tent for Mechanical Inventions, a tent for Theories, Papers and Computer Programming, a tent for Biological Displays and Chemical Demonstrations, and a tent for Exhibits That Are Meant To/Likely to Explode - Caution! That last one is far away from all the others.]
Hello, everyone. Welcome to the Science Fair! Oh, dear...
[later]
And now, I'm proud to announce the winners of our Fair!
In the category of Most Useful, we have Maxine Gibson, with her amazing data-gathering telescope.
In the category of Most Marketable, we have Wesley Crusher, with his innovative coffee-bot.
In the category of Coolest Looking, Huang Yue Ying with her elegant self-powered flying machines.
For Funniest we have Chase Stein's blowfish.
Most Bizarre is Nagato Yuki's mind-boggling universal theory.
And, lastly, Most Hazardous goes to Excel's voice activated C-4...
Ah, please come to the judge's table in order to claim your ribbon! Thank you for participating, everyone! You all did a wonderful job!
((OOC: Science Fair entrants, please start a new thread for your exhibit. OFFSCREEN your character should have set up their display last night, so take that into account. The subject should be "Character Name - Type of Display" and in your first comment you should describe what the display at least looks like. (Types of Display include Mechanical, Theory/Paper, Computer Program, Biological, Chemical and Exploding)
Anybody whose character has volunteered for duty, please just run around the post doing what they said they would! OR SOMETHING.))
((OOC 2: AS YOU CAN SEE I was too lazy to do an awards thread. But I will stick up an ribbon claiming thread, so if your character wants to come claim their prize/bitch at Violet for not giving them a prize, feel free any time in the next few days.))
