[With the return of the Mess Hall and the Mess Hall bulletin board has come a neat sign, something along the lines of this:
Barrier Research Group Meeting.
For all those interested in sharing research, observations and any information pertaining to the barrier. New people welcome, e-mail Robin for an agenda. The meeting will take place on [today], in the labs.

I'd like to open the meeting by mentioning Francescu. In addition to all the contributions he made to this group while in camp, he gave me his notes just before he left. I'm sure that they will be of interest to the group, not to mention very useful to us all. It seems a fitting way to remember what he's done.
Which leads us to our first order of business.
