[GENERIC HALLOWEEN LIBRARY POST]

Oct 28, 2008 19:41

[If you visit the library today, you'll find that things are a bit... creepier than usual. Things seem darker, danker, more cobwebby -- the books, more vicious. Light novels and normal reference books have been replaced with horror (popular and classic), spellbooks (whether or not they actually work is up to you to find out) and collections of urban legends. And also Twilight.

Additionally, there's a corner of the library filled with orange and black beanbag chairs. Above it is a sign reading "Spooky Storytime Corner!" There are plenty of flashlights for holding under your chins for dramatic lighting.

Oh, yeah, and there's also a counselor at a nearby table who was apparently roped into supervising this. Only he doesn't seem to be aware of it, as he's currently asleep. And also wearing a cowboy hat. To say nothing of the sign taped to his back saying "Ask me for candy."]

((Second verse, same as the first -- running the post, but feel free to hijack for your own use!))

((ETA - 11:14 PM EST: Got hit with sudden brain dead-ness, so I'll be slowing down and dropping things for the night. As usual, I'll keep on continuing threads until whenever. Have fun!))
