[while going about your daily business, you may come across a clearing. were you to stop and take notice, you would see quite the unusual sight. a seventeen year old man wielding a large two-handed sword, gracefully going through a training sequence.
that is not the odd thing. indeed, you may have seen him before, as he is here every day. the unusual part comes from his training partner. A large, dark red ...thing, standing beside him, matching every one of his moves perfectly. when the man swings his sword, the creature slashes with a wing. when the man spins, the creature flies smoothly into a somersault.
they look quite serene, and very focused on the training.
so, clearly, you must disrupt them.]
