itp: more holiday cheer
[Somewhere near the caves of despair, adding to the creepy atmosphere implied by words like "caves" and "despair", there is an immense spiderweb, its gossamer strings sparkling in the early-morning winter air, enticing the unsuspecting to come closer.
Of course, this morning it's sparkling and enticing in a different manner than usual -- every strand is covered with tinsel, colorful lights, cheerful ornaments, and several fuzzy stockings stuffed full of festive holiday goodies, like chocolate coins, oranges, and double-A batteries. Each stocking has been labeled with the name of a camper in obnoxious
