Mingling post!

[twas the day after Christmas and all through the swamp,
The campers were active, and through snow, they did stomp.
The winter was freezing, and the cold showed their breath,
And some stayed in bed, threatening roomates with death.

The trees and the stockings, some put up with nary a doubt
That on this fine day they’d be gleefully tossed out.
For at home some people didn’t have the holiday there
And honestly, some of the people just didn’t care.

And then there was the idiot slumped in his bed
With what appeared to be a massive cold in his head.
He did sniffle and sneeze, whine a little and pout
But really, why wear short sleeves in the winter when you’re going out?!

On Nyquil, on Motrin, on soup made with chicken!
Deliver some comfort to the dumbass who’s stricken.

Or possibly just mingle and not catch his cough,
But either way comment notifications are off.

((hush, my poem writing while sick is AWESOME, really.))]
