[If you are anywhere near the lake today, you'll probably notice a bit of a disturbance. There are four splashes -- a blond revolutionary and a spikey-haired soldier are currently swimming gamely toward shore, a normally-bespectacled secretary (who seems to have lost his glasses to the lake) was dropped right in the middle and seems to be in danger of being intimately acquainted with some sort of tentacle creature, and a cripple, whose wheelchair dropped safely onto dry ground... just looks like he needs help. Badly.
Meanwhile, a vampire was dropped above a stream flowing into the lake but bounced due to literary convention and might be heading your way. And a man in a mask stands on the shore, watching it all.
Also, as this happens, any signs of previous disturbances related to these individuals just... disappear, leaving nothing but a trace of mist.]
