It has been approximately 114 hours since the underground disturbance and the subsequent ripples of destruction in the labs. Our area is currently locked in ice to prevent further structural damage. Above ground, the situation has been little better - I am quite sure that the area's bulletin board has taken the brunt of these creatures' displeasure, and the lawn is a positive mess. My housemates have sequestered themselves in the cave; so far, two chairs and a coffee mug have been the only known casualties of the enforced proximity. The door has held.

Even with careful rationing, supplies of tea are running low. Unless there is a cessation of hostilities soon, the situation may become dire.

Our neighbours rejected the offer of consolidating the two groups, and are holding their domicile with a commendable tenacity. Despite predictions within the cave, 'that popsicle-stick birdhouse' has not yet fallen into zombie hands.
