Gordon had been in love with Rachel all his life. They'd even been playmates when they were kids. But one thing Gordon couldn't help but notice was that Rachel would wear a Ribbon around her neck every day, no matter what.

But then, Rachel got sick. And she wasn't getting any better. The whole family gathered around her death bed to say their final good-byes.
"My dear Gordon," Rachel said. "I never told you about my Ribbon. I think ... you can take it off now."
Gordon reached for the Ribbon that had been around his wife's neck as long as he could remember, and pulled it loose ...
