Crop circles and fairy lights?

[Tonight, out in one of the fields there is a dragon-sized circle oval of well trampled stalks and floating just above the corn are fist-sized balls of light/fire. Most are shades of blue and white but there might be a golden or brown one in there too. They look like they're dancing. Investigate?]
