Well, hidey-ho there, campers! Gosh, it's a beautiful day out, isn't it? Sure, it's been stormin' and snowin' and the ground is really cold and some of you might want to tear your sinuses out through your good ol' nose-holes, but look on the bright side! It's like a farm-town Winter Wonderland!
Speaking of wonderlands, one of the fields out thataway that got flooded over the weekend has frozen over, so if y'all feel up to it, you should go ice skating! I even had my friends provide some skates for your enjoyment! I think it's safe . . . 'cause boy howdy, was it flooded . . . well, anyway, watch out for any stray corn as you skate!
[IN CAMP TODAY, there is a field. a field that has flooded and then frozen over. how? ... does anyone really want to know? there is the occasional ear of corn sticking out of the ice, of course. to the side of the impromptu ice rink is a table with numerous pairs of ice skates. none are really in top form and mostly come in colors such as pink or neon green, but they work.]
[skate, heckle from the sidelines, run into each other, watch out for that tree, etc. I (Juri) will be tagging around a bit with mine attention span is petering offfff so I will pick at threads for the rest of the night and then pick up tomorrow, but TAG EACH OTHER AS WELL! party on. ♥]
