What I don't get is why she'd order a pizza and then just let it sit on the counter. It's getting cold!

Well maybe they should have planned ahead.

You know that people don't really plan those sorts of things, right?

Oh, because everything else is so realistic.

It's accurate enough that they'd ignore the take-out to have sex. In the heat of the moment, you don't really think about things like - I should put that in the fridge, I should turn the oven off, is the window open - and so on and so forth.
