I know better than to expect things to be that simple by now. Still, it is something to work from.

What is your take?

I will trust his judgment. If the women have given their word, then I will take it as well. They are up to something more though.

I trust few at their word when it comes to those who can influence this place. What of the riddle?

I didn't say I trust their word. I am honouring it for now. As for the riddle... my answer would be when everyone acknowledges it as something else.

That should not be too difficult to manage, given the nature of this place.

But it would also require most of them to visit the fair first and increase the chance of their entering into their own bargain with these individuals.

It would increase the chance of them having a willing audience.

Then they have insight into our subconscious, control over the barrier, and a connection to our worlds. They are also capable of overriding Sayre's rules. What remains for them to prove but the ability to influence our minds and bodies? And that may be resolved if he fails to adequately answer their question. If he succeeds, however... hmn. I wonder, are they relying on us to take initiative before they act?

A rebellion? We already know they can manipulate the barrier in some fashion.

So it could be a test more than a riddle.

He said that they didn't want to "spoon-feed" him information.

Ah, they want to find out what we are capable of. Gathering the campers beforehand would make the most sense in that case. We do not necessarily need to return to the fair immediately. It would just allow a larger population to know about the circumstances. We should utilize the Network while we can before the wandering obstacle returns.
