Well gosh, campers and counselors! Y'all know what they say about what brings the good ol' May flowers, right?

[SUDDENLY: it is pouring down rain without a single warning. And not just a drizzle or a light shower or anything - it's an absolute deluge. Good luck staying dry.]

Have you looked out the window in the last two minutes? It's- my shoes are completely drenched, how does that even happen ...

[runs a hand through his hair in attempts to fix it as he grumbles under his breath.]

Well, that's horrid. Let's stay in here for the interim.

That sounds like an excellent idea for the time being. I was out in that for less than a minute.

I don't know where they get off with the weather here. It's ridiculous.

It's completely out of the ordinary. Which is, of course, natural for this place and what one should come to expect in the grand scheme of things, but even the unnatural has its limits. This is just rude.

Though it'll do wonders for the smell once it stops. I love the smell of new rain.

I wonder if there's any towels in here somewhere . . . probably just drying cloths.

Right, because it's just the mess hall. It's not like they need towels here.

[pulls his coat and overshirt off and sets them to the side, just in a t-shirt now. not dripping as much, at least.]

Oh well! I guess we should entertain ourselves until it lets up. Are you hungry?

A bit, yes. I know it's Tuesday, though, which somewhat limits the options.
