Ah--yes. I am quite well, if frustrated with the state of my home. And... everything else.

Why are you frustrated? Did you not enjoy our fight? Or is death more unpleasant than I am told?

Death is not so unpleasant; it is the intense pain just before it that is difficult.

And I... I certainly did. I apologize if I was rude to you beforehand--I was not entirely myself.

It is an uncomfortable thought, to me.

I disassociate my present self with my past. I wanted very different things, at that time in my life.

I have also wanted different things when I was before I am now.

Conflicting things?

There is conflict between my long-held desire for conflict and bloodshed and beautiful fires engulfing all of creation, and my newer, disgustingly human desire to not be sad.

...That sounds terrible, Illyria. Have you things that make you happy that are not conflict?

No. I am always sadness.

Because humans are so fragile, just a collection of breakable parts.

Their psychologies are not so fragile, and merit study. Not to mention that you personally are not fragile by any stretch of the imagination, regardless of form.
