Good afternoon. I hope you're well, aside from...this?

I was, but the antics of this... camp are always an irritating thorn in one's side. I'm slowly getting used to it, however. And you?

They are irritating, I agree. Although I suppose this isn't as bad as spontaneous loss of clothing.

[ suddenly BLUSHES ]

Please do not speak of that!

I apologize; I will not mention it again.

[bows. kind of. damn that stuck hand.]

Such a lewd, horrible place. At least those who are trapped here aren't equally terrible. Have you been here very long?

Only for a few weeks. It's...quite a bit to get used to.

One gets used to it... from being trapped here for months. Years. It's alarming, to say the least.

I can hardly imagine what it must be like to stay here for years.

It's too depressing to think about.

I assume you haven't been here for too long yourself, then?

Over a month, now. I would be more alarmed at being away from home for this amount of time, but apparently time moves differently here.

How do you mean?

Reply

prettybanchou May 24 2011, 19:52:56 UTC
Hmm... a day here is not a day in one's home world time. Years pass here, but only minutes may pass elsewhere. It's all very confusing, but I am happy that both myself and others trapped here are not truly "missing in action" while being trapped here. I'm certain many people here have very important things they are involved in back home.

No, I know so. So this is a small blessing.

[pause...and then a quiet sigh of immense relief.]

This is good news.
