No, um, I just turned into one a few days ago. I'm supposed to be a person.

I used to have tentacles. One gets used to strange transformations.

Yes, but a great deal larger and sharper. I was as tall as the glass boxes people house themselves in, in the cities.

Wow. That sounds neat. How did you change into a person?

[bluetilator]

I was dust for a very long time and then I took over this body, though I have been back to my true self once in the time since then.

... you were dust?

[bluetilator]

I was little more than dust and will, in my sarcophagus.

My sarcophagus - the stone box in which I was kept over the millenia as I waited for my return to Earth.

[bluetilator]

I am Illyria, and I first walked this earth in the primordium, when the world seemed fresh, before humanity infested all corners of this planet. I am not an alien.
