TREE FORT

Jun 17, 2011 14:15

[It's a nice sunny afternoon in Camp Fuck U Die, and two teenaged superheroes are out enjoying the nice weather by building a tree fort!

...Well. They're trying to.]

Dude! That's not what the instructions say!

You don't need instructions for those, dude. You just build them.

Yeah, we're trying that now.

It can't be that hard! I'll even lend you a hand.

No problem. Does it need a secret password too? I think I could come up with a really good one.

Wouldn't be much of a secret if someone other than me and Rob knew it, right?

What's the fun of it if only the two of you get to go in it?

Ever tried it?

We rebuilt the Institute once. But we needed plans for that one. Besides, a tree fort can't be that hard!

Yeah, we kinda decided to wing it. Kids do this every day.

It's more fun if you just start building stuff. You just have to make sure it's structurally sound before you try it out.

Yeah, we just wanted to make sure we weren't doing it totally wrong, you know? We've never really built anything like this before.

It's cool, I get it. Even superheroes need to do something fun every now and then.

The might need instructions for other stuff! Like setting up a satellite dish or stuff like chairs.

Even with those things you can just wing it, though! Satellite dishes aren't that hard to put together.

Are you sure? Because every time the JLA had to dismantle a killer satellite system it took a bunch of them a really long time to stop it, and that was just destroying it! Not putting it together!
