I don't know! Sometimes that happens when girls try cooking. It happens to Kitty more often then she makes something edible.

Too many cooks in the kitchen increases the chance of something burning. Don't let it get to you. You just have to be more careful next time.

You didn't have a timer before? That's probably the first problem. Cooking is all about measurements and timing. At least that's what I've heard.

I always follow a recipe, but I don't have to use a timer when I cook by myself.

It's probably different for everyone. I know things can get pretty crazy back home, so having a timer helps if you get distracted.
