tanabata!

[as soon as evening hits in camp, several bamboo trees sprout up near the center of camp, along with a banner announcing:

Here's your tanabata festival!
make a wish

placed below the banner is a table with small pieces of paper on it with writing utensils, and directions, for those unfamiliar with the festival]

This says its called Tanabata. It takes place on the evening of the seventh. Other places do have peculiar holidays.

I don't think it necessarily has to be a wish related to lovers. Although if that was your first thought, then perhaps you should keep it in mind.
