placed below the banner is a table with small pieces of paper on it with writing utensils, and directions, for those unfamiliar with the festival]

It's a Japanese festival. You write your wish on a piece of paper and tie it to the bamboo.

Just like that? There's no catch? It seems awfully simple.

It's just a festival, they're not going to make it hard.

There's no gaurentee it comes true, you know. Most people wish for good grades or a new jacket or something easy like that.

I'm not sure I see the point in that. If you're going to wish for something, it might as well be something worth wishing for.

Little things are worth it when there's no catch.

That's true. But then you'll end up wishing that you had wished for something bigger, if you get what you wanted.

Or you wish for something big at no expense so you get NOTHING.

[gavehimhead]

It's just a wish, after all. You can't expect anything to come of it.

Well what are you going to wish for then?

I don't think I'll wish for anything. I wouldn't know what to wish for.
