If I could have your attention. My name is Garrus Vakarian, your "Zombie Resistance Coordinator." However, at the moment we have something more troubling than the restless undead on our hands. You or your friends may have encountered the "virus" which has been plaguing Camp in recent months. Admiral ZEX has compiled all the ( Read more... )

So it is back.

Very well; I would like to enlist if there is need for long-ranged fighters.

It is my duty to provide assistance wherever it is needed, ZEX-san.

Have you more information on the Virus?

No, I did not have the misfortune of encountering it this time. However, if it communicates through binary, a handheld translator would be easy enough to build.

that would be extremely useful, assuming Camp does not cut our power

I know the basics-- I suspect it's similar to making a calculator. In fact, I might simply alter an existing one.

Do you suspect Camp will interfere?

I do suspect this, yes

Even though the Virus is not allied with the loudspeakers etc. Camp did shut down the network and even stalled battery power in an instant, so it is possible it will attempt to kill the virus and end up incapacitating US trying to kill the virus

this is what happens when allies do not communicate

From what I have gathered the Director wishes to destroy the Virus as well but she will not help us do it ourselves

That is all I meant

And how did you come to this conclusion, if I may ask?

The Noobspeaker spoke out against the Virus when it first appeared, when it shut down the network and then rebooted it at a very slow speed

If the Noobspeaker were acting under orders, which I do believe is the case due to previous Noobspeaker announcements, then it stands to reason the Director is after the Virus

The Virus should be considered an agent of chaos, or an unknown variable in the Director's mad "experiment" that she wishes to purge

Ah, yes, I see what you mean. I suppose I have difficulty wrapping my head around the idea of being allied with the Director, even though she has previously acted in our defense.

I have spent a lot of time with insane people, and so I suppose I am accustomed to it.

Useful but tiring

Do you have any more questions?
