ITP awkward signs oh boy

Jul 19, 2011 21:54

[Today there is a probably awkward, probably intrusive sign floating above your head. For example:

ASK ME ABOUT SURVIVING HELL]

... That's charming.

((OOC: Awkward signs post! I'll probably tag around for a while but yeah mingle and all that jazz.))

Hello. Today seems to be a particularly exciting day. I'm beginning to feel like it might have been better to stay indoors.

Me too. In fact, I think that applies to this entire month.

Oh, yes, there is mistletoe out this month as well. Frankly, I'm surprised this place doesn't make more people anti-social hermits.

Mistletoe and... other. Stuff. Yeah, I'm considering taking up the lifestyle of the hermit. Wouldn't be so bad!

I suggest beginning your lifestyle at the library. There is very little to do besides read books when you avoid people.

Except paint! Which is a thing I do, and have a whole backlog of stuff to work on anyway.

Ah, yes, that would keep you exceptionally busy. I suppose I'm just narrow-minded when it comes to pastimes.

Nothing wrong with sticking to one thing, especially when that one thing is reading. You spend a lot of time in the library?

I spend an excessive amount of time there, yes. It isn't every day that I get to read through an multidimensional library.

Truths. Found anything really good yet?

Nothing outstanding comes to mind, but I haven't branched out much beyond the fantasy section yet. The Count of Monte Cristo was a very interesting read, though.

Man, it's been a while since I've read that. It's quality, though! Revenge, escape plots, hidden treasure.

I thought so too. I was so caught up in the story that I was disappointed when it finally came to an end.

Ha. I definitely know how that is.
