When people here would learn about my job, almost without fail, they would ask if I was ever lonely. It was actually pretty bothersome because I'd never thought of it. I didn't really have the time or inclination to. But being stuck here . . . being asked over and over, I did have the time. It made me realize that I was, and I hated that feeling.
