It depends. Some people were given assignments here, though I wouldn't be entirely surprised if people would just wake up and find themselves here.

If it's any consolation, it may be a temporary... uh, relocation.

I received no assignment to relocate myself to the midwest, but the idea that people could simply find themselves in a cornfield with no explicable reason is rather ridiculous, even if it seems this is what has happened to me. It also concerns me somewhat how you seem to be taking this in stride.

Let me put it this way... ah. Wild Tiger claimed to have been stuck here for nearly a month by himself when I had seen him just the day before prior to my own arrival here in this camp.
