[as is always a good idea in summer, the pool has ended up decked out in a barbecue, some various items like chips and dip, and there's also a couple kegs for those of you who have been wondering when the booze would be readily served

Yes, but when it is time for our allotted "vacation", it had never occurred to me until recently not to return home for New Year's.
