I've no interest in being your enemy either. At least, not you in particular. For one thing, it'd be boring. And incredibly expected. [examines her nails] That's as long as you continue to have no interest in immortality, of course.

I don't want to be a vampire, Katherine. I never have. I like being human. What I want is to be able to talk to you, maybe even be friends with you.
