Just looking . . . there aren't many board games back at home--it's mostly cards and the current fashion for playing Thud!.

I think it's like chess but the board is a different shape. There are also rules for how each side can move.

I think there might be guidebooks on it . . . I haven't played before though--just seen people playing it.

Do you like games? I'm afraid that you're be my best resource for attempting to understand Thud, so I might be bothering you about it. Even if you haven't played, you'd probably understand it better than I do.

They're mainly about making sure no-one knows your move before you can implement it . . . And out-thinking your opponents.

I don't mind games so long as no-one gets hurt.

Mostly all right. Except for the part where Camp might have been interfering in people's dreams and people I know in passing might have unwittingly caused their own deaths.
