There's also a cellphone sitting on top of one of the machines--from the faint tinny yelling, it seems like someone was trying to give instructions before Hanna got distracted

Well, most reds can go in with the rest of the colored clothes, but if you're worried about it, you can wash all the red things separately. Or forgo laundry entirely and simply buy replacements.
