[Ahh little spinny wings]

I believe you to be dressed as the rare Goldenflyer, which is a very deadly creature capable of inflicting not only poison and silence upon its victims, but doing large amounts of damage to an entire area when grouped with others of its kind.

It's terribly impressive, if not particularly tasty.

Oh.

...I think it's okay, then. I can be a Goldenflyer.

I do hear this is a holiday meant to inspire terror. Likely that is why you have been put in such an outfit.

[bows in return, shallowly]

You've my thanks for that, tiny Goldenflyer. Have you only just returned?

Yes. Why are young ones asking for candy? That is very direct, even for children.

[chuckles]

No -- the holiday is one of lenience.

Lenience and terror?

Precisely, yes.

That makes very little sense but it isn't my culture so I probably just don't understand.

I would like candy.

[blinks]

Ah, I suppose you would. I wonder if I've anything you'd consider sweet enough. I don't know the sweets of the VUX, after all.

[does have vigorbeans, however, which he hands over -- they are very nearly chocolate covered coffeebeans]

Oh! [Curtsies again] Thank you, your lordship. [Accepts! And looks at 'em.]

I really don't need to give you anything in return? I could do something.
