[Perhaps in some worlds a few of you might remember Safe trick Or Treating, a day usually before Halloween, where concerned parents take their kids to shopping malls and bug store owners for candy. Aladdin still had the ring and the genie inside was not as powerful as the genie of the lamp, but it could still get him to where the sorcerer was. It was pretty much up to him to outsmart the sorcerer after that.

Which he did by sneaking in and getting his wife to charm the Sorcerer so that they could poison him. Not much swashbuckling, but it worked.

Oh? Some might say it's a bit cowardly to make someone else do the deed, but it's probably not wise to go toe to toe with a sorcerer.

So it was basically one whole series of people trying to get one over the other guy. Sounds familiar . . .

Anyway, it was adapted into a much more wholesome cartoon movie for modern times.
